The authorities require that Slingers/Signalmen have documented training in safely carrying out this work. This is the employer’s responsibility («Regulations on the execution of work» no. 1357, § 10-1 Requirements for documented safety training of work equipment that requires special care when used). The regulations require that users of this type of equipment and work have the necessary training, practice and instruction in its safe use. It is also required that they are trained in the prevention of the risks connected to this type of work.
